Experience Qualifications
As the founding COO, Scott helped transform Auction Edge from a collection of unrelated (acquired) companies to an integrated team that successfully drove incremental revenue by delivering new products for independent automobile auctions and their customers. Under Scott’s leadership, Auction Edge created a compelling strategy that was put into high gear, leading to 25% growth in customer count and 30% growth in sales. Scott also led a new leadership and operating model at Auction Edge, leading to better coordination of all activities which resulted in improved customer experiences.
As a member of the senior leadership team at Starbucks Coffee, Scott drove significant change in the complete operations of the company; including internal HQ processes, supply chain, and ultimately a complete revamping of in-store operations at Starbucks 15,000+ stores globally. This led to significant improvements in product quality, profit margin, and employee engagement. Much of the impact was delivered by developing programs that taught and engaged all employees in effective problem solving.
As VP of Global Strategy and through his prior work as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, Scott worked with senior C-level executives to develop and implement effective growth strategies.
