Will is a motivated and highly technical professional who brings a passion for all aspects of the software development lifecycle. He is committed to creating great products that deliver compelling value and delight end users.

Will has an undergraduate degree in computer science and mathematics from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York.

As a software development consultant for Auction Edge, Will developed a web-based business intelligence dashboard to provide up-to-date reporting and analytics for the independent automobile auction industry. Will also worked with Dmitry Kaplan to develop a clustering algorithm to classify similar types of vehicles across different makes.

As a software developer for Endurance Specialty Ltd., Will developed and maintained reinsurance underwriting platforms and risk analysis tools. He also led a small team to re-define the software development lifecycle, transitioning from waterfall to an agile approach. Will participated in and facilitated group discussions in order to break down silo mentalities and information barriers within the company. This helped to renew clarity among priorities, provide a greater sense of alignment, boost employee morale, and reduce information bottlenecks, resulting in faster turnarounds for client requests.

During his time as an undergraduate, Will developed a system to segment human irises from non-ideal images for iris recognition purposes. He leveraged intensity threshold and line detection techniques in order to detect and remove occlusions in the eye. He developed an ellipse-based fitting algorithm to segment the uncorrupted portions of the iris.
